Toyota's management philosophy has evolved from the company's origins
and has been reflected in the terms "Lean Manufacturing" and Just In
Time Production,
"Toyota Way 2001," expresses under the two headings of
Respect for People and Continuous Improvement. Toyota summarizes its values and
conduct guidelines in five principles.

Toyota is a diverse organization which has a proud mix of cultures,

and development centers around the world. These centers are well-staffed with
leading innovators and actively cooperate with other TOYOTA group companies, as
well as universities and research institutes, in order to strongly promote
research and development of advanced technologies in various fields.

development that violates any applicable laws or breaches of its agreements
with its research and development partners. TOYOTA also does not tolerate the
illegal or unauthorized use of another party’s intellectual property.
Our goal is to develop vehicles from
the customers’ perspective and to promote research and development. We respect

maintain mutual trust. In addition, we use our best efforts to build a
relationship of mutual trust by satisfying our obligations to our partners. We
